The Department of Mechanical engineering from the day of its inception has been taking long strides in the field of science and Engineering. One of the oldest and active departments anticipated the rapid developments in technology and software and provided the most sophisticated laboratory facilities & excellent infrastructure. The department has well qualified dedicated enthusiastic teaching & technical staffs.
It is a discipline that finds wide scope in emerging areas like CAD, CAM, CIM, Robotics, Mechatronics, and Renewable Energy etc. The Department is provided with state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops. The Department organizes a number of workshops, seminars, conferences (university, state, and national level) every year. The students in our department have good communication and Interpersonal skills. Their thoughts and creativity have yielded them to achieve their Goal.

To provide excellence knowledge and enrich the problem solving skills of the students in the field of Mechanical Engineering with a focus to prepare the students for industry need, recognized as innovative leader, responsible citizen and improve the environment.
